As I have indicated earlier in the session, we are looking at ways to bring down the time take to verify transactions. You will see improvement in this area in near future.
This link is included in the email sent to the buyer requesting him to send his card copy to eBay.
As I had commented earlier, we are looking at ways to improve the time taken to verify these transactions. You will surely see improvements on this front in near future.
Thanks for your positive feedback about our services. As I said earlier I am looking at ways to reduce the time take for verification. I am aware of the impact it can have in the overall transaction fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
In between we faced some problem with ICICI Bank Transfer payments. This has been resolved now.
One more suggesion. We can't view the transaction details after few weeks (I mean 2 weeks) later.
So please keep the details of payments for few more like 90 days or 6 months and this will certainly help sellers. --------------- With Regards, Navaneeth (snrama)
I have already answered your queries in my earlier posts. As of now we do not have plans of revising PaisaPay fees or offering phone support for buyers.
I am sorry to hear the inconvenience you had to go through due to seller suspension. There is a Customer Service link on the home page. You can write to our Customer Service through the link http://pages.ebay.in/help/contact_us/_base/index.html
On your suggestion to expand PaisaPay services, please see my posting at the beginning of the session.
On the second suggestion regarding keeping a security deposit to make refunds in case there is not enough balance in PaisaPay Account, we received a very good suggestion in this session. We can make our bank account number available to the sellers where money can be deposited directly by you in such cases. This way we can reduce the time significantly by doing away with the time taken in dispatch of cheque and the encashment time.
I would like to add one more thing: Paisapay and feedback needs to be more interlinked. If a buyer has not paid for item(using paisapay or without using paisa pay) , he cannot leave a feedback.. Or in other words seller has not marked as payment received...the buyer cannot leave a feedback for that seller.
The high value transactions are nowadays taking longer than before to be verified. the buyer normally contacts us after 2-3 days that they have not been contacted for verification or they are not willing to fax the front and back of CC.
We have buyer details in the pending orders and th ephone nos mentioned are contactable but still we get a response from Paisapay "buyer not contactable". If ther is delay in verification of buyer sometimes the buyer tends to forgo the transation itself.
Can someother method of verification be done to avoid these delays so that we are able to make life easier for the buyer.
Thanks for your post. I will pass on your feedback on eBay fee on Mobiles to the team that looks into Category pricing. However as far as PaisaPay fees is concerned as I said earlier today, I believe that we are charging very reasonable fees for PaisaPay. Please see my reply below to mobilesncables on this subject.
1) If the suggestion to make PaisaPay fees slab wise because of the feeling that PaisaPay fees is high, as I stated earlier I believe that we are charging very reasonable fees for PaisaPay. Please see my reply below to mobilesncables on this subject.
2) To verify certain high value card payments, we may ask the buyer to provide us with a copy of the card used. In many times once the card is submitted we need to talk to the the buyer to verify the details given by him. Many times the buyers are not reachable on their phone causing delay in approving the transaction.
However I am looking into other ways to improve the turn around time of approving the high value transaction. You will hear more from me in due course.
3) As of now we do not have plans to offer phone support for buyers. Users can contact eBay for their queries through the Contact Us link provided on our home page.
Thanks for the appreciation of our service. I have responded to your queries point wise in the same order:
1) Please see my posting at the beginning of the session.
2) On PaisaPay fee I believe that our current charges are very reasonable keeping in mind that we also offer risk management of credit card payments. Please see my reply below to mobilesncable on this subject.
3) Please see my posting at the beginning of the session.
4) We already have PayPal for international payments. However the timing of its entry in India is not clear at the moment.
5) I will forward this suggestion to the reverent team
6) Please see my posting at the beginning of the session.
I checked the transaction status and at the moment it is showing as confirmed.
I would like to give you a brief description of why this problem occurred: At times some bank direct debits go in Pending Status due to drop-offs (i.e. user went to bank site, made the payment successfully on the bank site, but there was no real-time communication back to eBay by the bank that the said payment was successful - hence the payment status on eBay did not change from "Pending" to "Paid" even though the buyer's bank a/c would have been debited immediately).
Our reconciliation process takes care of these instances and changes the payment status of these drop-off transactions once the payment has been received by eBay from the bank. However this process takes 48 hours.
You are right - Sivakasi is not in the list of cities supported by PaisaPay. I will talk to our payment processor, HDFC Bank to see what can be done in this case.
PaisaPay is just a pass through of money between buyers and sellers. It does not take judgments on behalf of users. PaisaPay receives the money from the buyers and pays to the sellers. In case you want a refund, your seller should approve of the same. Else you can get protection under eBay Buyer Protection. regarding your concern on the time taken under Buyer Protection, I will pass on the feedback to the concerned team.
So, I can send the AWB number (if trackable on Courier Company's Website) along with photocopy of the AWB original receipt......in case I don't possess the POD or DRS.
I think you have a good suggestion. We want to continiously improve PaisaPay services. We will certainly keep this in consideration in our product enhancement priortization. We will keep you informed on this.
1) Discontinue sending cheques.. Please see my reply at the beginning of this session.
2) Try to decrease ur % margin I firmly believe that we are charging low fees for PaisaPay. What is a great value add is that PaisaPay provides full protection to Sellers on fraudulent usage of credit card. If you think about it this not a small protection for sellers. You can check the online industry rates for loss on account of chargeback and would be surprised to note that for many it may be even more than the full fee that we charge you for PaisaPay.
3) In the Current Paisapay transaction.. the NOTE is empty... We have noted this and would keep in mind for future enhancements
4) Sometimes if we have to refund money to customer.... I think it is a good suggestion. I would get this change incorporated in our system immediately.

Many thanks for the generous words of appreciation!
I think this is a good suggestion. We want to continuously improve PaisaPay services. We will keep this in consideration while deciding on next product enhancement.
Going through various posts, there are a few common questions that users have. I would take them upfront and address first:
1) Can you improve /expand PaisaPay services including transfering money online rather than sending demand draft?
I think these are very good suggestions. Thanks for your inputs. We want to continiously improve PaisaPay services. We will certainly keep this in consideration in our product enhancement priortization. We will keep you informed on this.
2) When will PayPal be introduced in India?
At present PayPal does not have immediate plans to come to India.
