Hi All, I have sent once item by speed post b'coz courier service was not available. In order to track, type track india post. put shipment no. e.g. eh1111111134IN. you will see NO DETAILS. Its little tricky. just click "details" on right corner. its hyperlinked. details would be shown. thanks.

@spl_ind: I think its difficult to track Registered parcel as I never found any link to track. But I regularly use Indian Speed Post and they do provide very very accurate and effective tracking. Hey , this is the first time i've sold something in eBay. And i've shipped an big parcel of 5 kg to Hyderabad from sriviliputtur. the receipt id is RT624023890IM. And they said i can use it as tracking id for the parcel. When i open their site, www.indiapost.gov.in/Tracking.aspx and enter this number, it shows a error message stating:Sorry your tracking number is invalid. Now what can i do? i've sent this same ID to my customer , i'm afraid he will complain eBay stating i have given a fake tracking id to fool him. bar coded registered post articles starting with RR or RU and ending with IN could be tracked very comfortably only about 20 days ago. Now they cannot be tracked at all on indiapost site . I am talking about those sent abroad. even on http://ipsweb.ptcmysore.gov.in/ipswebtracking/ only about 20% of articles can be tracked. You must lodge a complaint with chief of your circle and all india head of postal services if you really want something to happen

Website: http://www.track-trace.com for tracking shipment by using AWB no. does not contain the name of GATI in their listings. On the other hand GATI does not accept AWB no., they ask for some Docket no. which we the ebay buyers are not provided to -- we are really in a fix.

THERE IS NO TRACKING FOR REGISTERED POST PARCELS. HE HAS SENT SOMETHING BY REGISTERED POST, IT IS NOT SORT OF COURIER SERVICE, IT IS ORDINARY POSTAL SERVICE ONLY THAT IT IS REGISTERED AT THE LOCAL POST OFFICE.

It is diverted to another site as below, which is a travel and ticket booking site. http://www.cheaptickets.com/ Also earlier it was told by fashion-badshahthe that the site is www.packagetrackr.com. Hi ufo_big, To tell you frankly,I cant track that. But whenever there be problem with fgn-air-RL,I have seen post office people track that with RR bar code.They say it works. The packagetracker.com site is not opening. It is showing "Page Not Found" if the link is clicked. Anyway I doubt that parcel sent by "Registered Parcel" of IndiaPost can be tracked

you can use www.packagetrackr.com . register yourself with this site .. update all shipments you sent and sit relaxed they will send you regular mails untill package is delivered really a good site

Here is a website where one can virtually track all of their shipments with all major international courier / cargo / container / post / EMS services. Just log in to the following website i.e. http://www.track-trace.com You only need to feed there your AWB number and select the appropriate courier service and this site will automatically fetch the results from respective regional websites.
