One of the key ask from our members have been to increase the number of banks by which members could pay on PaisaPay. We are happy to announce that from tomorrow onwards, members will be able to pay on PaisaPay using their Visa and MasterCard Debit Cards.
Please note that Visa or MasterCard may not support payment through some debit cards at their discretion. For example, members will not be able to use Maestro Debit Cards to pay. Also, when paying via debit card, some communication on site may continue to say that you have paid using credit card. We are in the process of changing messaging on the site and expect to complete this over the next couple of months. You can go ahead and start using your Debit cards on PaisaPay.
We hope that this will give a lot of flexibility to our buyers to complete their payment. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on this thread.
I have been unable to pay for a transaction made in ebay.com using my canara or iob debit cards. Inspite of the cards sporting International Debit Card tags on them, i get an error saying that the bank has declined the transaction. Please help
In the past I was unable to pay through paisapay using my debit card. Thanks to support of ebay for their excellent advice on deleting cookies, deleting temporary files at internet options tab. I followed the same and paisapay was succesful with my debit card.
You software for PaisaPay is defective. Please note that there is no CV number for debit card. The ATM number is 4 digit where as CV number is 3 digit. SBI debit card does not have any expiry date. There is only issue date. Andhra Bank debit card has expiry date. The software should be such that when payment is being processed the format should have option for debit and credit cards and should be separate and for debit cards, and further the list of banks being accepted should also be listed on the other side. The example CITI bank credit card payment can be followed. I failed to use debit cards of Andhrabank and SBI yesterday and to day and finally had to go in for credit card. Regards

If the seller is offering cheque as the mode of payment, you may be able to pay via cheque which would be in the sellers favour and the seller would guide you on the payment instructions once you have purchased an item from him.
The other option that we would suggest is making a payment through Credit card which you may reimburse from your company as per your company policy.
On the payment page, you would get an option to enter the Credit card details. This field needs to be used to enter the Debit Card details as well which would include the CVV number.
The CVV number is visible on the back site of your Debit Card and not your Debit Card Pin.

On checking our records, we have noticed that the 1st payment done by you was through Citibank net-banking which is amongst the accepted payment options.
However, since you tried paying through Maestro Card for the 2nd time, the payment was unsuccessful.
Currently, members will not be able to use Maestro Debit Cards to pay.
