We are pleased to announce that we have revised the criteria for Express Remittance for PaisaPay payments.
As suggested by many of you and discussed during Rajan’s Open House we are happy to let you know that we have revised the Qualified Sellers Criteria for PaisaPay Express Remittance for PaisaPay payments. This change will help sellers who are selling regularly to avail Express Remittance privilege. Given below is the new criteria and a comparison against the current one:
Other criteria such as no Buyer Protection claims against and not having any account level restrictions against the seller which restricts Express Remittance privilege remain unchanged.
The new criteria will be effective from 5th March 2008 and all sellers who meet the criteria would be included for the Express Remittance facility and shall be informed.
All sellers who meet the criteria and yet to complete the Additional Verification (KYC) (Learn more) will be contacted to complete the KYC.
If you have any questions regarding Express Remittance please click here or need any clarifications you can always contact our Customer Support or contact us at the following Toll Free numbers: 1800 209 3229 (For all landline and mobile phone) 1800 22 0288 (Only for MTNL / BSNL phones) (7 days a week from 10 am to 6 pm).
We’d also like to thank all our community members who provided inputs and their suggestions so that we could look at revising the criteria and serve the community better. We’d like to receive feedback on the revised criteria on this thread.
It seems like there are certain sellers who want to be in Ebay's good books by praising all the actions taken by ebay even though there may be 100's of obvious issues.
Anywazs that apart i want to bring to everyone's attention the catch in this offer. Express remittance is the sole discreetion of ebay and they will send reminders for the same to sellers on there whims and fancies. Poor sellers have to keep waiting there turn even if they satisfy all criterias. Clearly to be at Ebay's mercy.
Is ebay working on creating an instant verification stuff where a seller can verify if he is eligible and apply for express remittance. IF not then Ebay pls dont play with hard working innocent sellers feelings.
Many Thanks to Mr. Rajan , sellers community is much obliged with this positive move . This will certainly attract the sellers back to Paisapay . We look forward to more of such positive actions and sales promotions announcements from ebay India .
Special thanks to Dear Indraneel also for this important announcement.
I have met all the requirements for being eligible for the Paisapay Express Remittance. Then also I am not been able to make the eligible list. Please can you tell me the reason why.
Wow.. Awesome move. One of the promises as told by Mr Rajan Mehra is accomplished.Seems like ebay is keeping to its words.Have to wait for the seller protection to come out as told by Mr Mehra.
Congratulations to all the new Express Remittance users and best of luck for a better business on ebay.
I got my Express Remittance confirmation eMail today from PaisaPay support.
Indeed this is a great honor for genuine sellers like Amitava & other fellow friends who are selling from long long time.
This is also good move by eBay that, sellers like us can get payment quickly like before. Also this facility can eliminate the fraud sellers out of eBay. It is like striking two Mango's with a single stone.
One more good news is our sales is increased in Feb, compared to Jan.
Please also consider most senior member Amitava's request for time extension for 5 weeks. Most of the customer receive in 2-3 weeks, but if a Postal Clerk makes a mistake An Airmail first goes to a wrong destination and later to right destination, so the time doubled, it required some grace period.
Even our Account Manager is very helpful. PaisaPay support replies quickly for mails. But still they have to read lot of help to reply. For example one customer ordered amount valued Rs.850, one of the item is missed, and i send a different item and asked PaisaPay to refund only Rs.150. They are trying to refund full amount, since i did not enter shipping code yet. But normally i enter last day or 1 day before to get time extension. The support staff should read and act, should not do jobs like robots. I hope this will be corrected soon.
Finally i can see a small ray of hope for sellers like me.
This is indeed great news - i was getting tired of calling/messaging my buyers to confirm item receipt so that my payment can be processed.
I have a question though, is that Average Remittance Rs. 5000 per month or Rs. 5000 in the last 3 months? Could the eBay staff kindly check and let me know if i qualify for the same if possible?
Hi Indraneel, Thanx. This measure will stem seller migration. I wanted a small favour. Please see if you can increase time for international shipping. Cant you make it 5 weeks? Also please switch off PaisaPay for international sellers participating in eBay India. They can pay ebay fees in countries they are registered with. You will get lot of new sellers here. Thanx again, Truly, Amitava
You are correct. As mentioned in my post above we would outreach all the sellers who qualify for Express Remittance informing them about the facility and also if they need to complete the KYC for eligibility.
Do let me know if you have further clarifications and I'll be happy to revert on the same.
Hi, That is very good proposal, this bringing down the slab to 5000. But just tell me this::: KYC we cant initiate, we are asked to do that, and then only we do that. Isnt it? Thanx, Truly, Amitava
